About Us
More Than Sound is organized around two commonalities: an expertise in audio and an intention to contribute to the world through our work. Over the years our content and expertise have grown, but our intent remains the same.
Our work focuses on:
-
Emotional Intelligence
-
Sustainability and Transparency
-
Meditation and Mindfulness
-
Spiritual Ideals and Practice
Our company was formed for the love of audio, and our work is made possible by our many wonderful authors. We understand great audio, seek out great ideas, and combine these to improve our world. Enjoy!

Hanuman- Audio Expert
Hanuman became interested in audio recording traveling in undeveloped areas of the world - which opened his eyes to the need for preservation of traditions as technology penetrates and inevitably changes the lifestyle. With cultural preservation in mind, Hanuman developed the website www.audioarcheology.com as a repository for his recordings of elders singing their childhood songs. At Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute he worked as an audio engineer on the production of Molecularium, a planetarium shown in venues across the country. He developed and participated in The Wisdom Preservation Project, recording interviews with Buddhist masters in Myanmar. Hanuman is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. After getting his M.A. in Media Arts from Emerson College he started More Than Sound Productions.
